Today was the day ! After the post arrival camp, we have not yet to meet each other. So, today planned a visit to Ghent to spend my day with her. We are the only two Malaysian exchanged students here in Belgium. I'm in Brugge , she's in Ghent. 

Took the 10+am train in the Brugge station. Did not check my watch but probably 25 minutes in the train? 

HUGSSSSS we finally get to see each other. 

It was so nice catching up with each other and updating each other. Tho in the same country and on the same exchange yet so many interesting stories to share among ourselves. Laugh at how silly we are in times and did silly decisions and mistakes. Bear in mind, exchange means making yourself 0 again and learning new things over again. That is, WHAT MAKES IT INTERESTING. Humble yourselves.

We visited the Belfry tower , The Castle, St. Nicholas Church, mural art along the streets, Design Museum Ghent......

It was free entrance for all as I have the Belgium Residence Card and I'm below 19 ! What a privilege! 

Christmas around the corner ! Advent 3 !

It was a pretty windy day! After a 2 and a half hours of walking, we decided to grab some warm drinks. Hence, Alice suggested that we could chill at Huize Colette. Her host mum brought her here for warm chocolate the last time and she said it was super LEKKER. So we hoped in the cafe.

It was pain in the ass but we say it's worth cause it was real real real delicious!

We continued to explore the city !

Went to the Design Museum Ghent. 

I'm in Brugge , she's in Ghent :)

We went to the mural art street. It was a long street with drawings drew by people along the way. 

Wrote my name on the 'memory' list.

Then , it was time for lunch. HEADACHE moment :( 

We spotted a Chinese restaurant and decided to settle in there for lunch. Got a little regret after looking at the menu but it turns out not too bad. Money the headache problem when you travel. Had a  bowl of soup and fried noodles for lunch. It was not super delicious but 'boleh makan' hahahaha

The day turned dark. So we ended our journey. But first, dinner.
We did some grocery shopping nearby her house ( 20 minutes walking distance ) to get so chicken, vegetables, ginger, onions......
