AFS BRUGGE

Ik verwacht al lang voor deze weekend!

Woke up as early as 5.15 am on Saturday morning so that I could get to the station on time. It took us about a two hours journey to Antwerpen and another 2 hours plus to Amsterdam. The fun itself even started when we were on the train. I've never felt so close to the volunteers ever before this. It was a pleasant weekend with all of them. Listening to their experiences and sharing always never failed to inspired me.
Once we stepped foot in Amsterdam, we checked in at the Hostel. There were some problems arose but it was well solved after that. First checked in point was a park where we had our picnic! Blessed to have the warm sun with us throughout the first day.

Then we headed towards the "Iamsterdam" for phototaking. Unfortunately, it was too crowded for a nice and good picture.

We then headed towards the Dam Square. *Vrije tijd*

Went some shopping and sight seeing. 

Highlights was at the heading point towards the meeting point. We went on a wrong tram. Went on the wrong direction. Luckily we get ourselves way back to the meeting point. 

ANOTHER HIGHLIGHT. I CAN'T FORGET CECI's EXPRESSION. *the-inside-story* 

We do not know how but Ked and her missed getting off the tram. That moment was epic. 

Then we headed for dinner. 

It was a pleasant restaurant with scrumptious food but super big portion. At least, too much for me. 

Had more fellowship during the dinner. Perfect. 

Ps: Jammer genoeg dat we kunnen niet samen in een hostel wonen.

Pps: Eerste dag was iedereen kaput ( bedoel ik heel moe). Het was ook 1 uur minder slapen. (het is nu al terug die zomer tijd  = 6 uur verschill van Maleisie)
