MakeDaysCount-Zuiddag 2015

Today was Zuiddag. I was not able to join them with the working experience because I am still not fluent in my Dutch. Hence, I paid a visit to Europa College last week arranged by the godsdienst teacher, Mevrouw Vansteelandt.

I met Mevrouw Casselman in school at 9am, It wasn't a really good start cause I got myself wet from the rain from cycling to school. Then we went for a little tour to visit the students who are working. It was an amazing day exploring Brugge together with her and sharing stories with her. She may be old in age but has a young and cheerful heart. She is easy to talk to and friendly.

First, we visited Emmy who worked in the metal company, Heindryckx at the industry area.
Second, we visited Jens who worked in Bakkerij NoWe,  the bakery. Bought the fresh waffles that he made and it was delicious.

Bread is a necessity here :)

Then, we grabbed coffee at the Roose's Chocolate World. Mevrouw said that most of the tourism buy their chocolates here as souvenirs. The shop is full of chocolate fragrance !

Then, we went and visit Jordi at the Biovita. He was doing the price labeling at the speelgoed corner.

After that, mevrouw suggested we could go to the Provinciedomein Tillegembos ( a recreational park ) for lunch. Unfortunately, the cafeteria was closed so we went instead to her house for lunch. She has a black pussy at home. ( Here, you see cats very often as a pet at home unlike Malaysia ) In conjunction of the project to reduce stray dogs and cats, when you buy dogs or cats or any pets here, your pet animals will be given a micro chip attached to the head. If your pet animals happen to lost their way, the chip will help the police detect the house to the owner and send them back. Malaysia should have that.

The recreational park

We continued our visit after lunch. Next we visited Shirley who worked in the Tolhuis at the Brugge City. A tourism information center and a toll collection center for the boats.
Went on a little walk with Mevrouw because we were 20 minutes early to visit Shirley :)

Lastly, we visited Dante at the Interbad. He had the most relax job. He worked as the life guard.

This is also the pool that we always cycle to on Tuesdays for L.O swimming lessons.
After the last visit, I was back in school and thank god for the good weather that I cycled home without getting wet !
