MakeDaysCount - Berlin, Germany #4

Did weather survey (using iPhone weather app), predicted today was going to be a bad weather. With rain and wind, made us lazy to get out of our bed. Again, ignored the alarm. Last day in Berlin. We dragged ourselves out from the bed and forced our eyes open.

The first station is far far away from the apartment. The Olympiastadion. 51 minutes with the underground trains and walking.
Waved the Malaysia flag in front of the entrance. Tourists stopped by to ask us, from which country are we from. LOL
We said Malaysia, their reactions be like OH ASIA.

We tried fitting in the important-must-visit places in the first two days because of the nice weather.
We did not make much plannings for today due to the expected bad weather.
The next place was the palace. An approximately 45 minutes underground train. Getting real frustrated and irritated walking under the rain and searching for the S-bahn again.
Hate it when you had to follow the sign but it went missing half way and you're doubting your direction again. >.<

Schloss charlottenburg

We decided to go back to Brandenburger Tor ( we visited there on the first day ) to get a Polaroid photo because everyone says that symbolizes Berlin.
So we hopped on a bus ( the bus is irritating ) we always find the right number but a different direction. (pay attention to" TOWARDS "; it's the same for bus, train, underground train and metros)
Reason to this photo is because we borrowed the wifi and toilet here LOL
Nice thing about Germany, toilets are mostly free.
You have to pay for public toilets in Belgium haha.
The weather got us freezing cold so we decided to head back to the apartment,
grabbed some warm
and cooked noodles for lunch.
Today was very late lunch: 3pm
After lunch, we decided to spend the rest of our afternoon in Alexander Platz because it's just few stations away from the apartment with the underground train.
After 3 hours. Tummies grumbled again. Dinner time. Decided to treat ourselves with Berlin style restaurant. TripAdvisor suggested Hofbrau Munchen. Just down the streets from Alexander Platz. We walked. Classy ambiance, affordable price.

In the restaurant.

dinner was very full, too full, super full.

After the dinner, we headed back to the apartment. Rested early cause we had to wake up at 2.30am to catch the train to the airport.

Last picture at Berlin train station.
Coming to an end of  Berlin trip.
Train ( from Brussels to Brugge ) got cancelled
and that got us drained tired waiting for another half an
hour from the next train.
To summarize my trip in three words : Sense of satisfaction.

WAVING GOODBYE TO THE VACATION AND LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE.

Greetings,
JiaMi
